This situation makes it even more necessary than ever to research and disseminate comprehensive care with viable strategies to reduce the impact of heart diseases. In this sense, the book “A Todo Corazón, Código Infarto”, coordinated by Dr. Gabriela Borrayo Sánchez, is composed of a variety of chapters written by experts in the field, which explain comprehensively and updated a variety of complex issues ranging from prevention, through treatment and rehabilitation. This book is part of the Mexican Social Security Institute (IMSS) program called “Heart Attack Code”, which has been a constant success since 2015 throughout the Mexican territory. The aforementioned program has served more than 30,000 affiliated people, in which mortality from cardiovascular diseases has been reduced, continuously, over the years. Thus, this work is the embodiment of the “Infarction Code” program, which may be of great interest to students, interns and cardiology residents, among other health specialists. For these reasons, it is imperative to open spaces for display and dialogue so that the medical profession and the general public can learn about this important work.
